Safa Muhanna, a passionate learner and educator, is a doctoral student in the Educational Technology Leadership program at New Jersey City University (NJCU). A full-time middle-school teacher by day and a part-time adjunct and adult ESL teacher on weeknights, Safa has two decades of classroom experience under her belt. Teaching has become an integral part of her identity.
Juggling the roles of a devoted single mother to two teenagers and a dedicated student has refined her time management and organizational skills. Presently rooted in the vibrant state of New Jersey, Safa’s aspirations stretch far beyond its borders. Upon completing her doctoral program, she envisions expanding her influence to an international platform, aiming to reshape education on a global scale.
When not immersed in the world of education, Safa loved to indulge in her passions. She has an immense love for reading, drawn to the worlds and wisdom that books unveil. She also has a passion for writing and feels that it allows her to express her thoughts and ideas from abstract to tangible. Traveling is Muhanna’s gateway to exploration and learning, as she relishes the opportunity to embrace diverse cultures and experiences.
